As many of you know, I am a proud member of the Entrepreneurs Organization and one of the topics we often talk about in the group is our Core Values. But what does this mean?
How does anyone truly figure out what their Core Values are? @entrepreneurorg shared a tweet yesterday from @kymhuynh of @weteachme, @eomelbourne who said “Pinpointing my values took many years. I finally stumbled upon a framework that worked: Reflect back on times that you have been incredibly incensed, and consider why you felt this way.”
It’s an interesting point. And likely a good reason why when I see unethical predatory lenders taking advantage of small business owners and entrepreneurs I understand one of my Core Values. Do you know yours yet?
I love how much you care about giving the best, most ethical service to your customers, Ami. I have no doubt that must be one of your core values as you ooze this characterisitc! It took us a couple of years and several management meetings to nail ours and now, we live and die by them. The employees appreciate them as well, as it sets the stage for expectations. It’s been a game changer for us. Www.uvskinz.com/corevalues 💪
